He lived at 11 Friars Mews, Blunts Road, Eltham, London, on 14 December 1988. He died on 14 December 1988 at Brook Hospital, Greenwich, London, at age 78. Raymond died of squamous cell carcinoma.

     Arthur Brown married Mary Annie Wyld. Arthur Brown was a stocking framework knitter on 23 September 1906.

     Her married name was Star. Doris Mabel Brown was a hosiery worker. She was born on 23 September 1906 at 82 Victoria Street, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. She was the daughter of Arthur Brown and Mary Annie Wyld. Doris Mabel Brown married Stanley Gordon Star, son of Cecil Star and Gertrude Harrison. Doris Mabel Star lived at 11 Harrington Street, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, on 7 October 1995. She died on 7 October 1995 at Kings Mill Hospital, Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, at age 89. Doris died of bronchopneumonia.
